I grew up in a book-loving family and was taught that my most important goal in life was to fulfill my God-given purpose. When I was ten, my dad, Dave Hunt, quit his day job to become a writer. As a result, I had more than my fair share of adventures as we traveled the world in powder blue VW van, searching for inspiration for his books.

Here are some of my adventures in a nutshell ...

Ever since I could pick up a pencil as a small child, I’ve loved to write and draw. Lying on the floor of my room, the hours flew by as I made up stories and drew pictures to illustrate them. My enthusiasm hasn’t changed much, except that now I sit at a table while I write, draw or paint. Figuring out a storyline and the pictures that go with it is pure happiness for me. This is an interactive literacy program that helps develop our students’ natural creativity, communication and critical thinking skills along with enhanced reading, writing and verbal skills.
